You are invited to explore the legal, financial and psychological issues involved in divorce in comprehensive seminars led by an interdisciplinary team of attorneys, financial experts, child specialists and mental health professionals. There are separate seminars offered for men and women. In each seminar, team members will discuss the pros and cons of the various methods available to get divorced in New Jersey, including the traditional divorce litigated in court, divorce mediation and collaborative divorce, a new method in which the divorcing couple and their attorneys agree to negotiate a settlement through a cooperative process without court involvement. The seminars are sponsored by members of the NJ Association of Professional Mediators and the Central Jersey Collaborative Law Group.

The seminars will be held at the law offices of Dalena, Dalena & DeStefano, P.C. in Madison, NJ on November 13th (for men only) and November 19th (for women only). All seminars will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  Light refreshments will be offered. The fee for each seminar is $25.00, and advance registration is required by calling 908-232-7400. The interdisciplinary team members will be available to discuss the legal, financial and psychological issues involved in divorce with attendees both during and after the seminars.

The seminars have been advertised in the Star-Ledger newspaper and can be viewed here – exploring-divorce-revised-10-17-08
